And the third girl perked up and said “My dad’s an artist!” 

The woman smiled indulgently and says “Oh really, what kind?” 

The little girl proudly told her “He’s a tattoo artist.” 

And the woman. Oh man. Her face just twists, crumples into something nothing short of disdain, and she opens her mouth and says “That’s not…”

“An easy job,” I cut in, looking the woman in the face because really? You’re going to tell a child her dad’s not a real artist. “In fact it’s very very hard, because that art is alive forever on a person, not like on paper. And that’s scary! You have to be really good, to be a tattoo artist. Your dad must be really, really good.”

what kind of person could just try and crush a little kid like that? goddamn.

I am seriously close to just going and buying some weed to just sit here and smoke all to myself because I don’t forsee how I could possibly get clean in less than 2 days (my test is due Thurs) if I’m not already after over 3 weeks…. This whole thing was pointless.

Well I just took an at-home drug test so that I can make sure I’m safe before I go in to the clinic to take the real one for my job at PetSmart… And it’s Positive. It’s been over 3 weeks and I know I haven’t chugged a gallon a day but I’ve been trying to down at least 2 liters (I have trouble forcing myself to drink a ton of water) every day plus some cranberry juice. I took it first thing in the morning so I know it’s the most concentrated and therefore higher chance of a positive but even if I go out and buy a new home test, chug more water and do it in the middle of the day, I don’t feel very good about my chances at this point… This upsets me because literally all of our friends have been telling me it would be fine since it’s been over 3 weeks but I knew better since Zach and I were smoking all day every day for nearly a year. And even after I quit for this job, he would still invite over all of our friends to smoke in our house while I would just sit there unincluded. I feel like I’ve wasted money on this test and my grooming tools, my time and PetSmart’s time, and unnecessary stress for weeks. But sersiously though, the manager/interviewer didn’t even tell me I would have to take a drug test until nearly a week after BOTH (2) interviews. Ugh, I’m seriously frustrated and I have no idea what to do at this point because I’ve already put this off as long as possible to detox and I need this done by Thursday or else they can’t hire me…..

Thank you Tommy! I mean, I’m not terribly offended or mad or anything because I understand where they’re coming from and their intentions are good by trying to look out for me knowing that I can get pretty swept up and lost in relationships sometimes. But this is seriously the healthiest and happiest relationship I have ever been in, and more so than most I’ve seen. And I really think it’s dumb to throw that all away over one tiny argument. 

I really love how none of my followers ever communicate with me other than to criticize my relationship which is the happiest and healthiest I’ve ever been in… Haven’t your mothers taught you if you don’t have anything nice to say then to keep yer damn mouth shut? Just kidding, kind of. But seriously though, I would really appreciate more feedback of all kinds, though it does depress me to learn that no one has any faith in my relationship despite us literally only having had one argument over silly matters which have been resolved… Yes, I vent on here because this is the only forum where I do not censor myself and I do not wish to share such matters on Facebook for all our family to see, therefore I turn to my Tumblr friends who I trust for unbiased advice. That being said, I know you all do not see only the negative aspect of this relationship since I know I have posted 100x’s positive about him than anything else. I love him. He made one mistake. I am not perfect either. We will not simply throw away our relationship based on one single argument. He is my best friend and true love, not my entire world but damn close enough. <3
